I received an email today with a video of Joe Vitale, who of course is one of the stars of the film The Secret.
In the video Joe addresses what he calls the "hidden secret" to really getting Law of Attraction to work for you.
Watch the video and then practive this mantra: "I love You. I'm sorry. Forgive me. Thank-you."
This video of Joe Vitale explains it all. Are you ready to clean your counter intentions?

Experience Life Now. Stop Going Through The Motions.
Are you choosing to experience your life or are you going through the motions?
As I write this, I'm in Wichita, Kansas. I'm on a road trip of sorts that started 2 weeks and one day ago. I loaded my family into our van and we set out from our home just outside Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
So far, we've stayed over in Fargo, North Dakota; Wichita, Kansas; Galveston, Texas; Montego Bay, Jamaica; Grand Cayman; Cozumel, Mexico; Weslaco, Texas; Austin, Texas and now back again in Wichita.
Our van has made it to all but 3 of the locations, while we relied on a cruise ship to get us to the remaining ones.
The trip has reminded me of what a wondrous planet we live on. And it's served to cement my resolve that the point of living is to experience the world and enjoy the experience.
I was able to take this trip because I have my own home based business. It gives me the freedom to choose when, where and how I want to experience my life and I don't require permission from any one else to do so.
But it wasn't always this way. For too many years, I lived my life by going through the motions and putting off experiences until some undetermined point down the road.
Finally, I couldn't take it any more, and I made the decision to start living my life now. No more going through the motions for me.
That's the trip I'm on and the ride has been exhilarating. You should try it some time.

Be The Leader And Raise Your Vibration
When you choose to be the leader, you automatically raise your vibration. And by law of attraction, when you raise your vibration, you begin to attract more of what you want.
I realize I keep coming back to this topic of vibration, but I've come to realize it truly is the key to to utilizing law of attraction in a deliberate way.
What does choosing to be the leader mean? Well, in my book, being the leader means doing what you say you intend to do.
Lets look at a really simple example.
If you intend to do 50 pushups in the morning and you actually do them, you have chosen to be the leader in that moment. If you skip them, then you have chosen to be the victim. End of story.
But an interesting thing happens when you follow through with your intention. You begin to feel better about yourself. You are in integrity with who you intended to be. And so your vibration can't help but increase. (Note the opposite happens when you're out of integrity).
Now, because you're in integrity with your intention, you are much more likely to want to follow through with your next intention. Once you do that, you suddenly have momentum. And with momentum, amazing things begin to happen.
This is so deceptively simple, yet it's where I see most people -- including myself -- sof often miss the point.
You can begin being the leader of yourself immediately ... right now ... regardless of where you are, where you've been, or what's going on around you.
Simply set an inention for yourself in the next few minutes, write it down and declare it, and then do it. Then repeat the process.
Do this over and over as many times as you can throughout the day and you will feel like a completely different person by the end of the day.
And the watch what begins to show up in your life. Because now that you've chosen to be the leader and stay in integrity with yourself, you've begun to raise your vibration in a very deliberate, profound fashion -- and so the universe will begin to open up to you.
Thanks for reading.

Is The Secret Really Misleading Us?
If you've seen the film The Secret, you will know that it focuses on Law of Attraction and how to use it deliberately in your day-to-day life. But is its message misleading and ultimately harmful to those viewers who come away from the film inspired to think their way into prosperity?
I read an interesting blog post today by David Askaripour over at MindPetals.com. The article title is The Secret Uncovered And Exposed. In his article, David propsoses this very question and he comes to some stark conclusions.
And he raises some very good points. The theme of David's article is that The Secret seems to be more about creating an ongoing ATM machine through the marketing of the franchise than it is about teaching people how to actually learn to deliberately use the principles of law of attraction in their life.
Now I would suggest every film is ultimately about marketing its franchise, but David rightfully points out that there is no discussion about "doing" anything in the film -- which leaves the impression that all one needs to do is want something badly enough while visualizing having it and, voila, it will appear.
I agree with David that this is a key omission in the film. My own view is that it's one of several key omissions that effectively still leave "the secret" a secret.
One of the key ones for me is the whole notion of vibrational alignment. My ability to receive is directly tied to the quality of the match in the level of my own vibration as compared to whatever it is I want. When the match is high, I can manifest things much more quickly and if the match is absent then I never will.
I believe part of the key to matching the vibrational frequency is that if I'm a good vibrational match, I'm inspired to take the actions that best serve me. The universe literally shows me the way, but I still must pay attention and take the action. I do that by following my inspiration.
So ... yes, action is absolutely a prerequisite to completing the creative process. And it's the level of vibrational alignment between me and my desire that serves as the catalyst to my taking the "right" action.
So, as David points out, it is very fair to say that The Secret is in fact very misleading when it comes to teaching others how to apply the law of attraction.

No Opportunity Wasted
Are you wasting opportunities in your life?
I was recently at an event featuring Phil Keoghan, who is the host of The Amazing Race. Phil spoke about his philosophy and the events that have led him to create a new program called No Opportunity Wasted -- or NOW.
And the key message in his talk is that the only time you have is right now. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow may never come.
Perhaps the idea of his I most appreciated was this: make certain you have a "life list". Your life list is the list of things you absolutely wish to accomplish before you die. And here's the juicy part -- then go about making a career out of accomplishing the things on your list.
You see, most of us have it the opposite. We pursue a career so that one day we might be able to accomplish some things we really want to do before we die. But how cool would it be to actually figure out a way to get paid while actually doing the things we want to do before we die all along the way?!?
All I need to work at is accomplishing them and then as I do, identifying something new to add to my list to keep it fresh and full!
What an inspiration this idea is for me. And Phil is walking proof that it can be done.
So let me ask you this question. What opportunities are you allowing to pass you by because you're waiting for tomorrow?
Let no opportunity be wasted; instead learn to spot and act on them now!

Are You Ready To Get A Life?
Get a Life.
How did you just react to that sentence? Did you find it amusing? Or perhaps alarming? Was it insulting?
Ask yourself this, "what does my response to that sentence tell me about myself?"
I've been reading Larry Winget's book Shut Up, Stop Whining, and Get a Life. And I have to tell you, it's really beginning to rub off on me.
The world is full of people who are quick to complain about their circumstances and their lot in life. And they're quick to blame everything and everybody around them for the result they're getting, but never willing to take responsiblity for themselves.
It's sad.
It's sad because the world has more than enough victims and so what it sorely needs is more leaders. And the step to taking personal responsibility by beginning to lead yourself is not particularly difficult.
But it does require commitment. It requires commitment to yourself and a genuine willingness to change. As Larry points out in his book, it's the willingness most people fall short with.
You have the ability to change your life for the better. You may even have the desire to change your life for the better. But neither of those things is going to enable you to change your life for the better if you are unwilling to change.
So here's the question to really ask yourself. "Am I willing to change?" Are you really willing to buckle down and do what it takes consistently, day by day, in order to create the change you want in your life?
Here's the good news. Assuming the answer is "yes", there are some tools that can help you.
Firstly, Buy Larry's book, Shut Up, Stop Whining, and Get a Life: A Kick-Butt Approach to a Better Life
. It's a great reminder and it's written in a no pussy-footing around style which is very refreshing and effective.
Secondly, there is a brilliant self study, personal development program you can buy that teaches you a daily recipe you can follow in order to get a life -- that is the life you really want. It's called Beyond Freedom and it has helped transform my life in a profound way. So learn how to get a life by visiting http://www.InspiredAbundance.com/beyond-freedom.htm
It's so easy to whine and complain about our lives. And it's the rare individual who is prepared to take personal responsibility and begin to lead him or herself to a new life. It's the rare individual who is willing to step out from the crowd.
So which are you? Are you willing to step out and change your results? If you are, then do something -- take one action step right now today that moves you in the direction you'd like to go. And then take another step again tomorrow.
So now it's time to ask yourself the key question. Are you ready to get a life?

Life Is A Team Call : Who Are You Choosing To Be Right Now?
Who are you choosing to be right now?
My wife Michelle has coined a new term in our household: "Life is a Team Call!"
Allow me to explain.
As part of our home business, we have a team call every Monday night. I typically co-host the call with my business partner Peter.
The key element of being out on the call each week is that I am looked upon as a leader. So I'm very conscious of what I say and how I say it because I realize I'm setting an example for the other people listening to the call.
A couple of weeks ago, after a particularly inspiring rant of mine (which was quite brilliant as I recall), Michelle said to me afterwards "Why can't you be like that all the time? You were amazing. Who was that man and how do we get him to show up more often?"
So she took a sheet of paper and in very large block lettering she wrote "Life Is A Team Call" and posted it onto the fridge door.
That note now serves as my reminder. Leadership is a choice.
At any point of time, someone is always watching and you are always setting an example. Even if the example is just for you.
And if you choose to turn it on and off, as I've been at times prone to do, then your results will reflect that lack of consistency.
My business partner Peter often says you are either a leader or a victim. You can't be both -- at any point of time you are either one or the other. So ... which are you being right now?
Day by day, moment by moment, we get the opportunity to choose who we are going to be ... right now. The more consistently we choose well, the better we feel, the better we are, and the better we do.
Whenever I walk past that fridge, if I'm in any way off track, I read that message. "Life is a Team Call". And then I choose to be the leader of me.
So ... now that I've shared all of that ... who are you choosing to be right now?
