Are The Law Of Attraction Gurus Lying To You?

How To Attract Wealth With Law Of Attraction
Discover The Exact Formula To Attract Wealth And Abundance
Achieve Your Dreams No By Mastering Law of Attraction

I've spent considerable time learning about and following a wide range of law of attraction gurus over the past several years. They generally teach that using the law of attraction is simple, all you have to do is ask, believe, and receive.

Understanding Law of Attraction

Is it really that simple, or are the gurus lying to you?

I would say I understand the concept of law of attraction quite well intellectually, but damn it can be difficult to apply it successfully.

In a recent interview I did with spiritual author Cathy Matarazzo, one of the questions she asked was "what are you using it for?" And she went on to discuss the distinction between focusing on deliberately using law of attraction to serve yourself versus for selfless serving.

This is an area where I find, for me, it is very easy to lapse into the trap.

Vibrationally, when you are focusing on what you want to attract -- and let's just use the example of more money, since for most people that would be a big one -- the minute you place your attention on "more", what you are really declaring is that you don't have enough. Your focus is automatically on getting something, which of course is the opposite of the vibration you intend to attract.

Conversely, when you place your attention on sincerely serving or helping others, your vibration is better in alignment with "love" -- which is the purest, highest vibration of all. When you operate from this place, you are suddenly much more of a magnet to receive that which you are giving, which may show up in many different ways ... including more money.

In so being, you open yourself up to the source of abundance.

Do Your Beliefs Serve You?

It seems to me that much of the art of mastering law of attraction is in filtering your thoughts and recognizing the underlying beliefs behind those thoughts. Once you recognize them, you can suss out whether they serve you or hinder you in attracting what you want. Make no mistake, for most of us, the vast majority of underlying beliefs we hold hinder us.

On top of that, I've come to understand that there is a deep spiritual connection that is at the root of my ability to attract or repel the things I desire. The more connected with my spirit and who I really am, the more I operate from a sense of oneness with the Universe, and the more in tune with the higher vibration of love I become. Because I'm focused on the oneness, my orientation becomes one of service rather than need.

This realization has actually made me feel uncomfortable because I've tended to hold some negative biases towards the whole notion of spirituality and the "new age" movement. Most of these relate to underlying beliefs I haven't even been aware of and the degree to which I entangle the concept of spirituality with religious beliefs. But that's an entirely different topic of conversation I'll leave well enough alone for today.

Coming back to law of attraction, when the gurus say that all you need to focus on is what you want and imagine having it, that's where I believe there are subtleties that must be understood and techniques to be applied that will better allow you to cultivate beliefs that will serve you in the manifestation process.

How To Improve Your Relationships Using Law of Attraction

how to improve your relationships using law of attraction
Would you like to improve your relationship with your partner? You can improve your relationship using law of attraction and its powerful principles ... and this technique will work not only with your partner, but with any relationship.

After a number of months or years, you may start to notice things in your relationship that need improvement. However, by law of attraction, when you are focusing on the things you don't want you
are activating more of it.

You may notice that some people always tell you their complaints about their partner. They tell you what they don't like.

How often do you hear them tell you how wonderful their partner is?

When you receive heartfelt and sincere remarks doesn't your heart soar? You want to keep it up don't you?

So it just takes some rethinking on what you say or even think about your partner.

At a subconscious level they pick up the negative frequency or vibe you are sending. You can tell when someone is not happy with you, you can sense it in a room.

The work to improving the relationship between you and your partner is to STOP sending off negative vibrations to your partner.

So how do you do it? How do you stop yourself from the habit? First of all ... awareness. Remember, every time you do think something negative or say something you are going to get more of it. So keep reminding yourself that you are attracting it.

Next, focus on the things you do love about your spouse. Do this constantly if you have to. Remember when you were first dating and the passion in those weeks and months? Your memory is very powerful and you can reactivate those emotions at any time. Just like it happened yesterday.

So once a day in your journal or in a quiet moment, focus on those moments you had with your partner. Breathe in and let out any negative thoughts. Just allow the love to reignite inside.

The love you have for your partner is always there you just have to focus on it. Now what you have is a more loving attitude with your partner again so as a result you will respond differently to the way they behave.

It is YOU that changes your vibration, your responses, your thoughts and actions.

Then it is a choice for your partner to change their response and mirror back to you this love or not. They may take more time to get used to this new version of you so keep it up.

This new attitude can be used in all your relationships. Try it with your boss and your kids and even your mother-in-law!

Overcoming Anxiety And Creating A Sense of Calm

Overcoming AnxietyThere definitely seems to be a "shift" going on which is creating much perceived chaos around us ... the weather, the economy, political unrest, and natural disasters just to name a few. It can be a struggle to know how to create a sense of calm while in the face of the storm.

Indeed, in this game we call life, it is easy to allow ourselves to feel overwhelmed and "out of control".

In those times when you feel anxious, unsettled, and fearful ... you have the ability to tap into and receive guidance from your Inner Being. Or another word you can use is Source.

Since what you want is to find relief, try saying something like this:

"Source/Inner Being, I am feeling awful right now. Please help me to understand why I am feeling this way, in a positive and gentle manner. I also want to feel safe and comforted. Help me to be grounded into you Source to help me in the most gentle and positive way possible. Thanks"

Take deep breaths in and out and hold in the energy of the breath, and as you exhale, let go of the frustrations, fears, and anger that you feel.

This only takes a few minutes to do. Go to the bathroom if you have this feeling at work. This process can be done whenever you need it.

Feeling relief first usually can help you, HOWEVER if you are doing something in the moment that deep down is wrong or feels like you shouldn't do it, your anxiety may be a warning signal to you.

Your Inner Being is communicating with you.

Habitually ignoring these feelings leads to stress, which is damaging to your body and is contained in your energy field.

For example, you may be living with stresses each day as you go about making decisions based on what other people believe is best for you, and not listening to your own truth.

So pay attention to what your body is telling you because it knows what is going on and is always honest with you.

By being consciously connected to your Source/Inner Being, your decisions and actions are much more likely to be in alignment with and to help you manifest what you truly want.

Remember to take time throughout your day as needed, to ensure that you ground into the purity of your Inner Being. By doing this you will be able to create the sense of calm you are after and gain relief from the feeling of being overwhelmed.

How to Go With The Flow

Going with the flow is a trait not many people seem to have the ability to do. I've learned that I can go with the flow and be more relaxed about my life when I remember a couple of key things. I'd like to share them with you now.

At any point in time, you have the ability to let go of the resistence within you and go with the flow of well being ... the flow of abundance ... the flow of love.

It is a much more glorious ride when you go with the flow.

When you focus on things in your environment that you don't like, you are interrupting the flow of abundance to you. Instead, you invite fears, loss of control, depression and feelings of disempowerment.

As a result, you feel unfulfilled, dissastified, frustrated, and discourged ... all as a consequence of not going with the flow.

When you do not feel wonderful, manifestation is slowed and you are out of alignment with the Universe.

Your solution is to just make the decision that, however you can allow it to happen, you will just turn and allow yourself to go with the flow.

Learn to "let it go" and, as they say, "let in God".

Your feelings are an indicator of the direction in which you are moving. When you stop fighting the flow, you will discover the point of relief.

This is truly your only choice: to either worse or feel better. You make that choice all day and every day ... whether to feel better or to feel worse in the moment. As an example, you can choose to participate in those discussions that you know will lead to quarreling or you can choose to let it go.

If you hear someone say "Oh crap, now look what happened," don't focus on their problem. They will start talking about it. They hook you in ... you see?

Instead, take your time to respond -- if at all -- and perhaps come back if they keep prompting you with a kind remark such as "oh that's interesting," and then leave it at that.

Isn't it nice that it took you so long to respond so that by the time you did, you no longer allow the initial knee jerk reaction of negativity to flow.

This is all part of you learning how to stay in the flow of well being.

Focus on your and the choice to feel good.

Worry not about what the other people are doing or saying ... for they too will get it, someday (maybe).

So remember that ... moment to moment ... your indicator of whether or not you are going with the flow is how you feel.

Follow You Dreams Now With These Simple Key Steps You Can Implement Today

Following your dreams is fundamental to your sense of purpose and the level of self fulfillment you feel in your life. You may feel that you have all the time in the world to accomplish your dreams.

follow your dreams

Yet there are reminders every day that your time on Earth is short. The reality is there's no way to predict how much time you've got left, which is exactly why there's no time like the present to make your dreams come true! Following are some simple, key steps you can begin taking right now to start steadily moving towards your dreams and living the purposeful, fullfilling life you were meant to.

Concentrate On The Positive

It's vital to start with positive thoughts. When you think positively about yourself and your dreams, you'll begin to believe that you can achieve anything. These initial positive emotions can lead to a dedicated drive and enthusiasm that'll help build lasting momentum.

Remember that nearly everyone feels overwhelmed when you're about to embark on a long journey. That's exactly why it's so easy to fall into negative patterns of thinking, but you must fight these thoughts. It can be hard to imagine that so much can be achieved simply by having positive thoughts, but it's true!

The truth is, when you think about something as scary as "I could die tomorrow," it's hard not to be drawn into a panic. But instead of worrying about how much time you and your loved ones have left, concentrate on making the present moment as productive as it can be towards your true calling.

Careful Planning

Once you've decided to take action, and you've battled your negative thoughts, it's time to make some feasible plans to get you where you want to be.

Keep these tips in mind as you go through your planning phase:

  1. Set realistic goals. If your goal is going to take years, give yourself years. You can't expect everything to happen overnight.

  2. Be specific. Include all the details in your plans. If you stumble along the way, you'll be comforted in knowing that you have your detailed plans to help you stay the course.

  3. Reward yourself. When you've made progress towards your goal, give yourself a reward. Even if your ultimate goal is far off, it's fun and motivating to enjoy rewards as you complete steps toward your goal.

Action In Small Steps

One of the biggest tips when it comes to following your dream is to break down your actions into small, manageable steps.

For example, your goal could be to become an airline pilot or you might want to start your own business. Both of these goals are hefty and have the potential to take years of work and training.
When you first think about these goals, it's easy to be scared of how daunting they seem. Instead of resorting to fear, try breaking down these goals into dozens or even hundreds of small steps. Chances are that each small step is not nearly as overwhelming as the big picture.

At the same time, always keep the big picture in mind. When you visualize yourself reaching your end goal, it can be an image that gives you the drive to keep going during tough times.

Inspiring Others

Once you've achieved your goal, consider inspiring others to reach their goals, too. Perhaps you have some friends or family members who say things like, "I've always wanted to do that," but they remain working at their dead end job.

Help them take action!

You'll know from experience that, while it may be a risk, the reward is more than worth it.

Yes, following your dreams is even a reward in itself! It's fulfilling. It brings you joy in the present and hope for the future. So carpe diem - seize the day!

How to Overcome Shyness

If you are looking for a way to overcome your shyness, there are some simple, no worry ways to do that ... and they are deceptively simple.

Firstly, understand there is a distinct difference between being quiet and being shy. When you're quiet, you know you have the option to speak, but you just choose not to do so. But when you're shy, you're plagued by discomfort, worry, or even anxiety in social situations.

No matter how shy you think you are, there are ways to train yourself to overcome this barrier. While you won't turn into a social butterfly overnight, you can become a more confident person.

Another benefit of overcoming your shyness is that, without that timidity, you tend to take advantage of new opportunities that come your way.

These tips and tricks will help you conquer shyness:

  1. Accept your personality. It's truly important for you to accept yourself for the person that you are. You can never be anyone but you. If you're a quiet person from time to time, so be it. There is just as much beauty in the personality of a quiet person as there is in an outgoing person.

  2. Put yourself out there. When you're shy, you're more likely to avoid social situations altogether. This only makes the problem worse. If you make the effort to participate, you'll become more comfortable in every social gathering.

Take small steps, but take action to step out of your comfort zone.

  3. Avoid running away. Even if you're feeling especially awkward and anxiety ridden, get through the situation as best as you can.

Afterwards, you can evaluate what you went through so you can grow from it. Ask yourself why you felt the way you did and see if you can correct the problem for next time.

  4. Learn to relax. When you're feeling shy, your mind begins to race. You might be thinking about all the things that can go wrong and you'll find it impossible to relax. Instead of thinking about what might happen, concentrate on the present and on what actually is happening.

If you begin to panic, use relaxation and breathing techniques to calm yourself down.

  5. Practice your social skills. If you're shy in social situations, try to practice your communication and social skills in non-threatening environments, such as with family or close friends. This will take away some of the scary "unknowns" that might be causing you to be afraid.

  6. Use visualizations. Visualizations can be very powerful. They can help you relax and get past the anxiety associated with shyness.

Close your eyes and think about yourself in a situation where you'd normally feel shy or panicky. Instead of feeling overwhelmed with negative emotions, visualize yourself as completely confident and happy.

  7. Focus on someone else. Place all of your focus on the person you're sharing a conversation with. Really listen to what they're saying. If your energy is focused away from how you feel, you'll be less likely to be overtaken with the feelings of shyness.

It may also help you to encourage the other person to do more of the talking. Use open-ended questions where they can launch into a whole story or explanation instead of just answering yes or no questions.

Shyness is a combination of fears and feelings that are reinforced by habits. Use these strategies to help you change your habits and your feelings of shyness will dissipate along with the old habits!
